So one of the things I love about my Library of Memories system is that it allows me to actually scrapbook (I can hear my husband saying, “Wow, imagine that!” over my shoulder).
I’ve always wanted to partake in the fun challenges that people post, but I’ve never been organized enough to do it. Until now.
I present to you my first challenge submission (drumroll please).
Sissy’s Scrap Challenges are hosted by the talented scrappy sisters
Margie and
Sara. Their
first challenge was a layout sketch. These have always intimidated me a little, but once I approached it as a recipe in my brain
(follow the basic structure, adding a pinch of this and a dash of this), the task was less daunting.
The sketch:
My layout:
Supplies: paper by KI Memories; chipboard squares for title by Heidi Swapp; chipboard embellishments by Making Memories; ribbon by Creating Keepsakes
Journaling reads: October 20008. Johnstown, PA. My favorite thing about moving to the North is the beauty of the fall leaves. Unfortunately, they only lasted a few weeks this year, replaced on Halloween by an early snowfall. I hope fall lasts longer next year.
Super fun. I can’t wait to see what other challenges Margie and Sara come up with.
While I was rooting around in my category drawers, I found a few of my favorite candid pics of Hubby and me.
Supplies by KI Memories
Journaling reads: July 4th weekend, 2005. Pensacola, FL. Helping Georgia + Robert plan their wedding, we were able to steal a few romantic moments to ourselves just months before our own wedding.
